I’m Judith Weston. On my website, Judithweston.com, you can learn that for 30 years I ran a studio where I taught classes for actors and directors — and traveled around the world with my workshops. I’ve written three books: Directing Actors (1996), The Film Directors Intuition, and Directing Actors 25th Anniversary Edition (2021). In that most recent book, I poured my heart and soul into offering everything I know about acting, directing, and writing — I’m proud of it and recommend it to anyone who works or is interested in film/theater/television/video.

But I have other things to say, too. This newsletter will be more eccentric, more eclectic than my usual laser focus on the needs of directors, actors, and writers, and their interactions with each other as well as with producers and executives.  I don’t know how much of a preview I can give you because I’m going to follow impulses… But — I’m happy to respond to any requests or questions you have! I’m at my best when I can interact so please do let me know if there’s any way I can be of help.
